The second annual Barnesville Day of Caring event, hosted by the Barnesville Area Community Fund in partnership with Barnesville HELPERS, arranges local volunteers to go to the homes of senior community members to help them with outdoor projects. Barnesville Day of Caring will take place on Wednesday, May 1 from 9:00 am to 3 pm. Teams of BHS students will complete 70 projects with the help from 130 local volunteers. With the support from volunteers, a variety of outdoor tasks can be completed such as; washing windows, raking leaves, trimming shrubs, cleaning garden and flower beds and cleaning gutters. The Barnesville High School students and they are extremely excited to engage in the community and spend the day volunteering!
