The Barnesville Area Community Fund partnered with the Barnesville School District and HELPERS to host the first Barnesville Day of Caring on May 3, 2023. The focus of Day of Caring was to connect the energy of high school volunteers with area senior citizens who needed help with outdoor projects. With the help of 85 student volunteers, over 60 senior citizens were assisted. It was inspiring to see the way the youth and seniors connected!
