Throughout every part of the community you see projects that were funded through the assistance of the Community Fund….parks and playgrounds, libraries and emergency services; as well as new businesses and services. Visit with your friends and neighbors and you’ll hear stories of students who received scholarships and have gone on to make a difference; or families whose lives were changed by donations that helped them through a medical crisis.

Field of Interest Funds

Target your gift to address needs in an important area of community life. Donors may choose to designate that their funds to used for scholarships or to help families in need through the Humanitarian Fund.

Donor Advised Funds

Operating somewhat like a private foundation, a donor advised fund run through the Barnesville Area Community Fund gives you the security of financial management and the flexibility of guiding your gifts to the programs that support the charities of your choice each year. Leadership Barnesville is a program which cultivates 25 leaders through leadership development and community exploration over a 7 month period. The program has graduated over 200 leaders, who have built a strong and influential network of like-minded people with a shared commitment to the community and YOU can be part of the next class!
